Welcome to ReSuit, and congratulations on joining our community : whether you are looking to clear up some space in your life, share your loved items, want to expand your style or looking for a new way to thrift you have found your people. Getting up and running is super easy.

step 01 / Download the app and set up your account.

step 02 / Search for items to buy or rent based on style, designer, location, category or fit.

step 03 / Send the owner your request to purchase or rent, or save it to your shopping bag and continue browsing.

step 04 / Once you connect with another ReSuiter you can use the in-app chat to arrange for the handoff of items : will you meet in person or chose to ship sustainably?

step 05 / Payment is seamless, and occurs once both sides of the transaction have entered an authentication passcode right in the app. The owner of the item gets paid directly - ReSuit does not store any of your financial information, we do not hold on to any funds and there is no fussy transferring of money.

01 / Showcasing clear pictures of your items are key in grabbing attention.

02 / Ensure your descriptions are honest, accurate and detailed. Include the condition of the item and suggestions on how to style it. Don’t be afraid to show the flaws or wear of an item.

03 / Be responsive. responding quickly to your fellow ReSuiters request is a sure way to seal the deal.

04 / Promote your closet, share your items on your social media platforms.

01 / Use natural light when possible against a minimal background.

02 / Iron, steam or press garments and spot clean items so they look their best.

03 / Shoot at least 3 images for each item (you can post up to 8 images for each item).

04 / Item descriptions should be honest and accurate with lots of details around colour, brand, usage, flaws and materials.

01/ When you list each item, you will indicate if it is for rent, for sale or both.

02/ You decide how much to sell it for and/or how much for a daily rental (remember to take shipping and cleaning into consideration).

03/ You have the flexibility to decide a minimum rental period (in days) as well as grant discounts for longer rentals.

04/ Once your listing is up, your fellow ReSuiters can request the purchase or rental of your items through the app and you can choose to complete the transaction or politely decline.

…and that is all it takes to be in business.

01/ You can perform a search based on location, transaction type (buy or rent), brand, availability, size, fit, or item category.

02/ Save items that spark joy into your shopping bag.

03/ When you are ready to try something new send the request to the item owner - feel free to ask additional questions and set up the hand off.
